Two University of Georgia graduates from Carrollton, GA established the shop in 1963.  Charles
Willis and Larry Cooley were the guiding ‘lights’ for the business  for many years and prospered selling apparel for men which included suits, dress shirts, and ties.  While the attire has changed for men over the years, The Squire Shop’s passion for strong customer service has not changed.  The purchase of the Shop in
2005 by a former employee and University of West Georgia graduate, April Harris, guaranteed the shop new life in a ‘new’ day. While The Squire Shop no longer carries all of the suit merchandise in stock, it does carry an array of clothing options for men, including sports jackets, suits by order, and even some items for the ‘fairer’ sex!  The Shop also has continued its tradition of renting tuxedoes and suits.

A few of the more popular lines available through The Squire Shop include:  Brewer’s Lantern, Vineyard Vines, Mountain Khakis, Patagonia, Southern Tide and Southern Proper. Additionally she continues to develop her traditional ‘mainstay’ brands which include: Merrell Shoes (men & women), Rainbow Sandals, Overton Shirts,  KAVU, Berle Slacks, Royal Highnies, Costa del Mar, Ray Bans, Brighton Belts & Wallets,  and  Minnetonka Moccasins!
